Germany-based athleticwear giant Adidas has launched the latest addition to their boot line-up, the X Crazyfast. This innovative design, featuring Adidas’ latest Aero technologies, is crafted to enhance speed in all aspects of the game.

The X Crazyfast will be available in three distinct models: ‘P+’, ‘P1 Laced’, and ‘P1 Laceless.’ These versions, catering to diverse player profiles, incorporate speed-focused technology. The flagship P+ model, designed for elite players, such as those participating in the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023, stands as the lightest model for optimal speed.

Adidas has launched X Crazyfast football boots, featuring speed-enhancing Aero technologies.
The boots are available in three models, the lightweight P+ designed for elite athletes, and P1 Laced and Laceless for all-level players.
The boots’ design optimises comfort, stability, and rapid acceleration.
Each X Crazyfast model is free from virgin polyester.

Crucial to the development process of X Crazyfast was the inclusion of a balanced gender mix of contributors, ranging from professional athletes to grassroots players. This approach ensures the boot’s benefits can be experienced by all footballers, regardless of their level of play.

Key among the boot’s design is the updated Speedframe sole plate technology, replacing the previous carbon version with a new Aeroplate insert. This update makes the overall plate 5g lighter, providing enhanced comfort and responsiveness, with the stud design optimised for rapid acceleration.

The boot’s upper also features innovative design elements. Both P1 models feature the Aerocage innovation for ideal support and stability, and Aeropacity Speedskin, a breathable monomesh offering comfort throughout the foot. The P+ model takes these features a step further with a lightweight upper composed of the single-layer Aeropacity Speedskin+ and the minimalistic Aerocage+.

Each X Crazyfast model is free from virgin polyester, and the P+ model features a 15 per cent lower carbon footprint compared to the previous X Speedportal P+ version.

The X Crazyfast boot comes in a white and lucid lemon colourway. The boot is available for purchase starting July 4 via Adidas’s website, and selected Adidas stores and retailers.

Mahsa Aryan, global category director at Adidas Football footwear, said: “The modern game is centred around speed and quickness to win the ball against your opponent. Players must think fast, and react even faster, which leaves no time for distractions. The X franchise, and everything it offers, has therefore become increasingly important considering the modernisation and increase in speed of football played today.

Offering a full suite of X Crazyfast models helps footballers at all levels—whether that be those competing on the world’s biggest stage or local park pitches—in the fastest moments of the game, to be their best.”
