Ambani launches Vantara: Wildlife Rescue Centre


Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani introduced the world to his passion project – Vantara.
Located within the green belt of the Reliance Jamnagar refinery complex in gujarat, the 3,000 acred Vantara is not only home to over 2,000 animals across 43 different species, but also a rescue, treatment, care and rehabilitation facility for the injured, abused and threatened animals both inIndia and abroad.
So far, Vantara has sheltered and rescued over 200 elephants, 300 large felines such as leopards, tigers, lions, and jaguars and over thousands of reptiles, including crocodiles, snakes and turtles.
It also has the World’s Largest Elephant Hospital in its premises.

Anant being an avid animal lover qouted in an interview “I see Jeev Seva (animal care) as a seva towards the almighty as well as humanity.”
